Founded in 2003, this 501(c)(3) non-partisan organization is dedicated to fostering a broad awareness of the diversity of thought, heritage, interests, and views of Americans of Hispanic and Portuguese descent. Its areas of focus include leadership, public service, commerce, corporate responsibility, and more.

The Challenge: A Bumpy Road

In a previous engagement with a regional accounting firm, this nonprofit was assigned lower-level staff. For several years, auditors had numerous findings from wrong application of accounting rules to internal control deficiencies. Higher-level accounting staff were nowhere to be found. The much-needed oversight or quality assurance was simply lacking, even after problems had been uncovered.

The Service: Managed Accounting

When Han Group became engaged, with a team including partner-level participants, accounting services were restored to the level this client needed and deserved.
